Winter World issue 2 review. This book came out on 7/23/2014 Quick recap from the last issue. All we really get from issue 1 is, we are introduced to our two main characters, Scully and Wynn and their badger, Rah-Rah, and the world has apparently frozen over. So in the last issue we ended with our main characters fleeing from a group of bandits. They managed to break through a barrier where the Panama Canal used to be. And they are now driving on the Pacific Ocean. They briefly encounter a man who tells them that we saw a plane in the sky and puts them in the direction of a village. We also have this guy named Skitters who is tracking Scully and Wynn. So we see our characters traveling and trying to find the village the man spoke of, they make some stops along the way for food. Eventually they come upon a village, I don't know if it's the one the man spoke of, they wait until nightfall and approach carefully. But the path is booby trapped and they are ambushed. The issue ends...

The Strain episode 3 review 7/27/2014 SPOILERS ahead if you haven't seen the episode. So at the beginning of the episode we get to see what the vampires actually look like. Which was pretty cool. We still have our CDC guys who are trying to figure out what happened to the people on the plane. We also have Jim who made a deal with the vampires to try to get help for his sick wife and he had no idea what he was getting into. The old vampire hunter guy is who I'm more interested in, his story seems interesting and I want to see it progress more. There was also more family drama in this episode which I don't really care for. We are starting to see more people change into vampires. We also have the story of the exterminator and these rats, I'm assuming the rats have some significance. The wife of one of the survivors walks in on him drinking blood. The captain of the plane is at the hospital and they are running tests on him. You can see all the little worm like things in ...

SDCC news update part 2 Hey everyone. So this is goining to be another comic con update. We've gotten a lot of information from SDCC over the last few days. First, let me start with batman vs superman news, they showed a teaser showing batman in what looks like bat-armor, which was pretty cool. The scene basically showed batman turning on the bat-signal and then superman coming down from the clouds with glowing red eyes. Also on the batman vs superman front, we got to see what wonder woman's costume looks like. Now as far as the design of the costume, I like it, but it does bother me that it's not red, white, and blue. Ok so next let's talk the walking dead, they showed the trailer for season 5, which I must say looks great. It looks like they will be traveling to Washington and possibly working with the people from terminus. We also get to see Beth, so she isn't dead. It will be interesting to see where she has been. SDCC news update Hey everyone.  So we're getting a lot of news out of SDCC this week.  On thursday night they screened the pilots for Constantine and the Flash with some pretty decent feedback so far. I know the episodes leaked a few weeks back but I have yet to see them.  Are you guys excited to see the Flash and Constantine? I know I am.  We also got to see the first images of Roy as Arsenal on the Arrow show, now this is something I'm excited for.  I'm a huge fan of the show and I can't wait to see how the characters develop and the story progresses this season.  Another piece of news out of comic con was that some other comic books have been optioned for TV shows, among those optioned was five ghosts.  Five Ghosts is an amazing book that is put out by Image, and I highly recommend that you guys give it a read.  The art and story fit perfectly together, mix in some magic, monsters, pirates and awesomeness, and you've got five ghosts.  Las...
