This is my review for BlindBox Comics. For those of you that don't know, BlindBox Comics is a new monthly subscription service. They were recently funded on Kickstarter and I was one of the people that backed them and I just got my box from them. I received 5 comics plus an exclusive variant for Enormous issue 9 limited to just 175 copies. As well as 3 signed Enormous prints. Now for the review. So the items I recieved were interesting. The 5 regular comics were, I a Hate Fairyland 1, Clean Room 1, Karnak 1, Paper Girls 1, and The Amazing Spiderman 1. So as far as those go it wasn't all that exciting. Out of those books I already had Paper Girls 1, I think Clean Room was just optioned so that was actually a book I was looking for. But as for the others, they aren't books I would buy or care about. Hey guys so this is going to be part 2 of my Rhode Island Comic Con 2015 review. This one will be more positive, I promise. So part one was my experience from the dealer side of things this part will be about my personal experience at the show and how it went for me and what I got there. So let's start with Friday. The best part of cons for me is seeing all my friends that are dealers who I don't get to see often. With the exception of a few I usually only see them at cons. So we had plenty of time to catch up an chat before the doors opened on Friday. And one great advantage of getting a dealer pass is being able to get in early and being able to go through boxes and see what everyone has and make deals before they let all the attendees in. Saturday for me was a lot busier. I spent a lot of time at the table selling books, which I enjoy. I'm sure like me, most of you don't have a ton of people around you that are into comics so it's nice to be able to talk to peo...

Hey guys this is my review for the 2015 Rhode Island Comic Con. This is going to be a long one so sit back, relax and get yourself a snack. This was the second year I have attended this show, last year was the first. So I'm going to try and review this con in two separate parts. I worked the show with a dealer friend of mine so I get to see the behind the scenes of what goes on and get the dealer perspective. I'm also a fan and collector so I went to this con to buy comics and I also hoped to get a few sketches. So let me start off by saying if you went to this show last year you know that there was problems with them overselling the show and a lot of people had to wait hours to get in and it was a disaster. As far as I know that wasn't an issue this year but there were still a lot of problems. So they let dealers set up starting on Thursday, We didn't bother to set up until Friday.
