Hey Everyone

Hey guys.  Sorry I've neglected this blog this year. I've had a very busy time. I haave attended 10 different conventions and still have two more before the year is finished. I will start up my reviews again soon. I just got back from Rhode Island comic con last week so I'm going to post an extensive review for that tonight so look out for that. I'll definitly be more active and keep you guys posted. Thanks for stopping by.

Ok so I want to talk about buying and selling on eBay. If you're a collector, speculator or flipper I'm sure you've either bought or sold something on eBay. Personally I try to stay away from eBay because it's just a hassle but I figure I'll talk about my experience and maybe it can help someone decide if they want to buy or sell on eBay. First let me talk about buying because I have a lot less to say about it. As far as being a buyer you're really protected to the nines. Comic Book Speculation, Is It Worth The Risk?

So right now in comics we live in the Speculation Age. As far as I'm concerned the Modern Age is over. Let's start by defining speculation. And I'll give a broad definition. At its core speculation is when you buy a book because you believe it will go up in value and you will be able to sell it later at a profit. Now that's a very broad explanation. By no means am I an expert. There are some very good sites out there that have very detailed articles and tons of great info. One of my favorites is CBSI, go check them out at  www.comicbookinvest.com They have some great people pumping out articles with tons of knowledge. And in this hobby knowledge is power. So I'm going to discus if speculation is worth the time and money. So there are different ways to speculate. Super Megafest 2016 Review

I went to the Super Megafest Convention in Marlborough MA this weekend. It's s 3 day show held at the Royal Plaza Convention Center. They do a spring and fall show. Here's what I thought, This is a show that really doesn't need to be 3 days. Saturday and Sunday will do just fine. The venue itself is ok, it's not too far off the highway. It's a small venue, I'd say similar to the Shriners for those of you who have been to that show. The set up was strange though, vendors didn't have much space. Tables were narrow and there was hardly any room behind the tables to move around. They didn't have separate rooms to have panels and Q&A's, the just used curtains to section off some areas which was weird. They wasted a lot of space with TV and movie cars, they could have brought in more vendors. Probably 8-10 dealers selling comics. As far as the guests went, I didn't think they were all that great, I would have liked to have met Richard Dean Anders...
