Constantine season 1 premiere review.
So let me start by saying I'm not all that familiar with Constantine in the comics.
So it's starts off with John in a mental institution. He then sees a cockroach and then another, he follows it and finds a woman who is possessed. He exercises the demon. And then leaves the institution.
So we see this girl named Liv as she's leaving work, as she's leaving her car dies and she starts walking, then the ground begins to crumble and opens up and fire comes up from the ground. Then John pulls up in a cab and introduces himself to her. He goes down in the hole and an angel appears.
The angle tells John that something is on the way.
So Liv gets driven home by a friend. As she enters her apartment she sees a man. She goes inside and the man carves something on her door. Then something happens and her friend that lives across the hall is killed... So we think. Her body starts moving in the back of the medical examiner's van. She is clearly possessed and it looks like she's killed him.
Liv goes back to work and John is there. John knew her father and promised him he'd look after her.
Then the medical examiner van crashes through Liv's office, she would have been killed if she was at her desk.
Liv goes home and asks her mother about her father, as she's talking she sees her dead grandmother, she then drives away and finds John again. He tells her she has a gift like her father, and she can see souls and I think dead people when she touches her father's pendant.
Liv goes with him, as they're driving they lose control and are hit by a truck. Liv is stuck in the car and John's friend gets her out but then something is controlling a power line and stabs John's friend in the chest.
John brings Liv to a house that was owned by her father. It's an old spooky looking house. And Doctor Fate's helmet is in there. John figures out an angel is after Liv.
The angle John met before reappears and stops time to have a conversation with him.
John goes to visit some guy. Liv is back at the house and is still trying to get used to seeing things.
John's friend is still alive so he's obviously magical as well. John and Liv go to a rooftop of a building and John paints a demon trap on the roof. And they wait. The demon shows up, John traps him, the demon tries to trick him into releasing him but John sends him back to Hell.
The episode ends with a girl drawing pictures of John.
So this was an ok episode. Not the best but I'm interested to see what's to come.
I'd give this episode a 7/10

eBay article part 2

First off I want to give a shout out to Trey K from CBSI for sharing my previous article. It garnered some decent attention and good discussion within the group. I also got some good questions from people so I thought I'd elaborate on a few things.  I just want to warn sellers of the risk of selling on eBay. And the huge pain it can be. The main question I got was how often does someone try to scam you? Honestly I would say about 1 in 10 sales. And the most common scam is people wanting a partial refund. They will say something like "hi the book arrived today but it's probably a 9.0 and not NM so can you refund me 25% and I'll just keep the book, I hope we can resolve this". All they are trying to do is get the book you sold them for a cheaper price. And how could they possibly know the grade if it's not slabbed. Collector, Speculator, Flipper... Can you be all of these? Sure why not?

Ok guys so it's Labor Day I'm bored and thought I'd right an article. So people tend to categorize others in sub sects of the collecting world. A friend of mine called me a flipper I said ok but I'm also a collector. He asked how can I be both? So let's first define each category. A collector is someone who collects comics, whether it be runs, keys, slabs, what have you, pretty self explanatory. A speculator, someone who buys a comic hoping the value will increase so they can sell it at a profit. A flipper, someone who buys a book for the sole purpose of selling it. Ok so now that's out of the way. I think we can be all three of those things. I don't know why "real collectors" look down on flippers and speculators. Now for me personally any money I make selling comics goes back into my collection. I don't do it as a business to support myself I do it to buy other things I won't for my collection.
