Five Ghosts issue 13 review.
I'm so glad this book is back, it's been way to long and I'm excited for this new storyline.
First off for those of you who haven't read Five Ghosts before this is a good jumping on point because it does start a new storyline.
So this arc is called "Monsters and Men", Pretty appropriate considering it's October.
As always it was a quick read but it was really good. Fabian is traveling though Eastern Europe looking for Sebastian who he thinks has been kidnapped. As he's traveling he sees a kid in the woods surrounded by these monsters that look somewhat like zombies, he then kills them all and saves the kid. They travel to a village together where the kid was delivering medicine because there is a plague spreading thought the village.
They go to the village doctor and the kid tells him of the monsters and the doctor takes Fabian in for the night. The doctor tells Fabian of an old legend surrounding a wealthy family that used to live in the village. The son fell ill and the mother tried everything including dark magic to save him, which released a terrible plague on the village. And the area where the family used to live is now a bad place and he warns Fabian not to go there.
It also looks like someone may be tracking Fabian.
At the end of the issue a man in a bird mask is driving through the village handing out "medicine" to people, but it's changing them into monsters.
So this issue was really good, a quick read as was expected, but good. The art was fantastic as always. I'm excited to see where this monster arc is headed and can't wait for the next issue.
I'd give this issue an 8.5/10

eBay article part 2

First off I want to give a shout out to Trey K from CBSI for sharing my previous article. It garnered some decent attention and good discussion within the group. I also got some good questions from people so I thought I'd elaborate on a few things.  I just want to warn sellers of the risk of selling on eBay. And the huge pain it can be. The main question I got was how often does someone try to scam you? Honestly I would say about 1 in 10 sales. And the most common scam is people wanting a partial refund. They will say something like "hi the book arrived today but it's probably a 9.0 and not NM so can you refund me 25% and I'll just keep the book, I hope we can resolve this". All they are trying to do is get the book you sold them for a cheaper price. And how could they possibly know the grade if it's not slabbed. Collector, Speculator, Flipper... Can you be all of these? Sure why not?

Ok guys so it's Labor Day I'm bored and thought I'd right an article. So people tend to categorize others in sub sects of the collecting world. A friend of mine called me a flipper I said ok but I'm also a collector. He asked how can I be both? So let's first define each category. A collector is someone who collects comics, whether it be runs, keys, slabs, what have you, pretty self explanatory. A speculator, someone who buys a comic hoping the value will increase so they can sell it at a profit. A flipper, someone who buys a book for the sole purpose of selling it. Ok so now that's out of the way. I think we can be all three of those things. I don't know why "real collectors" look down on flippers and speculators. Now for me personally any money I make selling comics goes back into my collection. I don't do it as a business to support myself I do it to buy other things I won't for my collection.
