Haven season 5 update.
So I said before that I wasn't going to review each episode of Haven because I love the show and every episode is great. Well so far that's been true. We are four episodes into the season and each one has been great.
This season has been very different from the rest with Mara opposed to Audrey. But it's still been good. The story is very interesting and progressing well.
We are learning more about Vince and Dave, which has been cool. And we have learned more about Mara as well.
Duke and Nathan are still awesome and the show as a whole has been just as good as I had expected.
I'll keep you guys updated if there are any drastic changes to the story or if any significant event takes place. If you guys aren't watching Haven you need to be!

Comic Book Speculation, Is It Worth The Risk?

So right now in comics we live in the Speculation Age. As far as I'm concerned the Modern Age is over. Let's start by defining speculation. And I'll give a broad definition. At its core speculation is when you buy a book because you believe it will go up in value and you will be able to sell it later at a profit. Now that's a very broad explanation. By no means am I an expert. There are some very good sites out there that have very detailed articles and tons of great info. One of my favorites is CBSI, go check them out at  www.comicbookinvest.com They have some great people pumping out articles with tons of knowledge. And in this hobby knowledge is power. So I'm going to discus if speculation is worth the time and money. So there are different ways to speculate. eBay article part 2

First off I want to give a shout out to Trey K from CBSI for sharing my previous article. It garnered some decent attention and good discussion within the group. I also got some good questions from people so I thought I'd elaborate on a few things.  I just want to warn sellers of the risk of selling on eBay. And the huge pain it can be. The main question I got was how often does someone try to scam you? Honestly I would say about 1 in 10 sales. And the most common scam is people wanting a partial refund. They will say something like "hi the book arrived today but it's probably a 9.0 and not NM so can you refund me 25% and I'll just keep the book, I hope we can resolve this". All they are trying to do is get the book you sold them for a cheaper price. And how could they possibly know the grade if it's not slabbed.
