The Walking Dead season 5 premiere review.
It's been a long wait but the Walking Dead is finally back.
"They're screwing with the wrong people" let's see if that's true.
SPOILERS ahead if you haven't seen the episode.
So we start right were we left off, with the group trapped in the train car, and it looks like they are prepping for battle.
Someone drops a flash bang in the train car and takes the group into this room. It looks like these guys are dismembering a body in there.
These guys start cutting people's throats and letting them bleed out into a big tub.
They stop at our group. And Bob is talking to Gareth.
Then Gareth is asking Rick about the bag that he hid.
Rick tells him what's in it then tells him he's going to kill him.
Then we hear gunfire outside. And a big explosion.
So far it really isn't looking so great for our guys here.
Now to Carol and Tyreese, they have to hide from a huge heard of walkers, they heard the gunfire from when the people at terminus were shooting at the group. They continue on their way.
Carol and Tyreese walk up on a guy from terminus, they question him and find out that the group is at terminus. The guy is talking to much. I wish Tyreese would shut him up. Ok Tyreese really need to kill this guy.
Carol disguised herself as a walker and makes her way to terminus. She sees the people there taking Rick. There is a huge heard on its way to terminus. Carol shoots a massive gas tank to cause a leak and then lights a firework to explode it. The explosion destroyed the gate at terminus leaving a huge entry for the walkers to get in.
Back to Tyreese and the guy that won't stop talking. Now back to terminus.
Walkers are getting in and killing the terminus people. Carol is still disguised as a walker and making her way inside. Rick kills the two guys that were with them in the room.
Now to the rest of the group in the train car. They are wondering what's going on. Walkers continue to kill the terminus people. Carol is inside now. She is a badass and starts killing more terminus people. Rick is now with Glenn, Daryl and Bob.
They get out and start killing walkers.
So Carol is inside and she's in a room with all these people's personal belongings when she's sees Daryls crossbow. She's takes it and goes to look for them. Daryl saves Rick from a walker. Rick takes a gun off one of the terminus guys then guns down some more of them.
Carol is still making her way through terminus, seeing all the weird stuff inside. Then the lady from terminus catches her but Carol fights her, then the lady explains why terminus is the way it is now, then Carol asks where her people are and shoots the woman in the leg. This lady is crazy. Carol lets walkers in to eat the crazy lady.
Back to Tyreese, he takes his eyes off the guy and then the guy grabs Judith, and threatens to kill her if he doesn't go outside. So he goes. Come on Tyreese you should have killed that guy right away.
Tyreese kills the walkers outside then busts back in and puts a serious beating on that guy. The group in the train car is still trying to figure a way out. Eugene won't tell the others what the cure is, he says it classified. I have no idea what he just said. Rick opens the train car and gets the others out. They start massacring walkers. The group escapes and makes it over the fence. They make it to the guns that Rick had stashed. Rick wants to go back and kill all the terminus people. Then Carol shows up and Daryl gives her a big hug. And then Rick hugs her too. She brings them all to Tyreese and Judith.
It's reunion time!
Oh yeah Tyreese killed that guy. Good job.
So the group is on the move, headed away from terminus.
So we never saw Beth in that episode.
What?!?! Morgan is back!!!
Ok so that was a awesome episode. A lot of action, the story progressed and some cool reveals. Just awesome.
Rick was definitely right. They screwed with the wrong people.
I'd give this episode a 9.5/10
