The strain episode 13 season 1 finale review.
So we start off with the old rich guy who has now been healed, going down to the pawn shop and he meets the nazi vampire there. The nazi tells him that the Master healed him but he didn't turn him. So he's not immortal.
So now we are seeing a flashback of Eph's wife and kid, then we see the team discussing their next plan.
Now we see Gus, who was taken by those vampires that hunt other vampires. One of the vampires tell him to follow him somewhere.
So the rich guy and his bodyguard are having problems. His bodyguard doesn't want to follow his plan anymore. The bodyguard quits and leaves.
Eph and the exterminator go looking for the Master. They manage to find where they think the Master is hiding. So they leave and go to get backup. So the team regroups.
So the rich guy and the nazi go to see some woman, I don't know if she's the mayor or what, but she has the authority to shut down roads and declare Marshall law. The rich guy steps outside onto the balcony to talk to the woman privately and he throws her over the side and kills here. Then they threaten the guy from the CDC that was Eph's boss, so now he'll do what they want.
So back with the team, they are going after the Master, and Eph is bringing his annoying kid with him so the vampire hunter gives him a silver sword.
So they are all together now and are going after the Master. So they make it to where the Master is, and there are a bunch of vampires there. So they just start killing them one by one. Eph and the vampire hunter go looking for the Master while the hacker girl, Nora and the exterminator hold off the other vampires. So they find the Master and fight him, Eph ends up pushing him out a window and he makes it down the side of the building into the tunnels. And somehow he was able to withstand the sunlight, and the team is now very confused.
So back to Gus, he tires to run away from the vampires but ends up in a room with these other vampires called the ancients. The vampires want Gus to fight for them.
Eph has to go back to his house to get an inhaler for his kid. And the kid didn't even need it, he just wanted to go home to get some stupid pictures, what a dumb kid.
And while they are at the house, Eph's wife, who is now a vampire, shows up and Eph shoots her but doesn't kill her and she gets away. So the team is driving somewhere. And that's how the season ends.
So overall it wasn't the best season finale but wasn't the worst.
I'd give this episode a 7/10

eBay article part 2

First off I want to give a shout out to Trey K from CBSI for sharing my previous article. It garnered some decent attention and good discussion within the group. I also got some good questions from people so I thought I'd elaborate on a few things.  I just want to warn sellers of the risk of selling on eBay. And the huge pain it can be. The main question I got was how often does someone try to scam you? Honestly I would say about 1 in 10 sales. And the most common scam is people wanting a partial refund. They will say something like "hi the book arrived today but it's probably a 9.0 and not NM so can you refund me 25% and I'll just keep the book, I hope we can resolve this". All they are trying to do is get the book you sold them for a cheaper price. And how could they possibly know the grade if it's not slabbed. Collector, Speculator, Flipper... Can you be all of these? Sure why not?

Ok guys so it's Labor Day I'm bored and thought I'd right an article. So people tend to categorize others in sub sects of the collecting world. A friend of mine called me a flipper I said ok but I'm also a collector. He asked how can I be both? So let's first define each category. A collector is someone who collects comics, whether it be runs, keys, slabs, what have you, pretty self explanatory. A speculator, someone who buys a comic hoping the value will increase so they can sell it at a profit. A flipper, someone who buys a book for the sole purpose of selling it. Ok so now that's out of the way. I think we can be all three of those things. I don't know why "real collectors" look down on flippers and speculators. Now for me personally any money I make selling comics goes back into my collection. I don't do it as a business to support myself I do it to buy other things I won't for my collection.
