Gotham Premiere.
So this isn't going to be a review, more like an overview.
So we kind of get a glimpse of each character in this episode.
We see Thomas and Martha Wayne get murdered. Harvey Bullock and Jim Gordon are partners and are on the Wayne case.
So as studios always do, they deviate somewhat from the original comic stories, which is expected nowadays. We get to see small parts from, Oswald Cobblepot, Edward Nigma, Selena Kyle, Ivy Pepper, Alfred Pennyworth, and Bruce Wayne.
Fish Mooeny, played by Jada Pinkett Smith, has a larger role as a sort of crime boss character with an affinity for baseball bats, she works for Carmine Falcone.
Bullock and Gordon get into some trouble but Carmine Falcone cuts them loose because he doesn't want dead cops on his hands, how nice of him...
Gordon and Bruce have a conversation at the end of the episode and we get to see Wayne Manor.
You definitely get to see how dark and gritty and violent Gotham is.
So overall it was a pretty good episode.
I'd give it an 8/10
I'd recommend Gotham to you guys, let me know what you think!
