Some TV and movie news.
So let's start with some rumors.
Apparently Wonder Woman is going to be Kryptonian in the Batman versus Superman movie. If that's true that's ridiculous. Let's hope it's not.
Next, I guess it's somewhat confirmed that DC is going to make a Supergirl TV show. I'm a fan of Kara so if this is true let's hope they do the character justice.
Okay, so earlier today they released some more pictures of the new Batmobile. Honestly I think it looks horrible. What do you guys think?
Also Jim Corrigan has been cast on the Constantine TV show, so who knows if we will see the Spectre or if he will just play the detective on the show.
I might be leaving some things out so if I remember them I will post them later.

Comic Book Speculation, Is It Worth The Risk?

So right now in comics we live in the Speculation Age. As far as I'm concerned the Modern Age is over. Let's start by defining speculation. And I'll give a broad definition. At its core speculation is when you buy a book because you believe it will go up in value and you will be able to sell it later at a profit. Now that's a very broad explanation. By no means am I an expert. There are some very good sites out there that have very detailed articles and tons of great info. One of my favorites is CBSI, go check them out at  www.comicbookinvest.com They have some great people pumping out articles with tons of knowledge. And in this hobby knowledge is power. So I'm going to discus if speculation is worth the time and money. So there are different ways to speculate. eBay article part 2

First off I want to give a shout out to Trey K from CBSI for sharing my previous article. It garnered some decent attention and good discussion within the group. I also got some good questions from people so I thought I'd elaborate on a few things.  I just want to warn sellers of the risk of selling on eBay. And the huge pain it can be. The main question I got was how often does someone try to scam you? Honestly I would say about 1 in 10 sales. And the most common scam is people wanting a partial refund. They will say something like "hi the book arrived today but it's probably a 9.0 and not NM so can you refund me 25% and I'll just keep the book, I hope we can resolve this". All they are trying to do is get the book you sold them for a cheaper price. And how could they possibly know the grade if it's not slabbed.
