The strain episode 10 review 9/14/14
So we start this episode off in the pawn shop. Eph's kid is trying to find his mom, so he tracked her phone. So Eph is going to try and find her. The Eph/Nora drama is annoying. And his kid is wicked annoying.
So the team is trying to form a plan to kill the Master. Eph goes looking for his wife but doesn't find her. Some homeless woman had his wife's phone. The woman shows him where she found the phone.
Now we are flashing back to 32 hours earlier. Eph's wife is in bed when her infected boyfriend comes home. She goes to check on him but he's locked himself in the bathroom. She goes to work and finds most of the kids in her class are out sick. She starts to believe what Eph told her and wants to leave town. She goes back home to find her infected boyfriend there, he attacks her and she gets infected.
She drives away, but now it's only a matter of time before she turns.
Some time goes by and she's still in her car, and she's beginning to turn, I assume she is trying to call Eph but she drops her phone and walks to her son's school looking for him. But he wasn't there because her friend had driven him home.
Some more time passes and she is really starting to turn. She watches as another vampire kills someone.
Now back to present time.
The hacker and the exterminator are going to try and get internet access. But they run into a little problem. These guys apprehend them before they have a chance to fix the internet.
Eph goes back home,still looking for his wife.
Now we flash back again, to 17 hours earlier.
Eph's wife goes to her friends house, the one that picked up her kid. But she's turned at this point and she kills her friend and her friend's kid.
Back to present time again.
So the hacker girl is being taken to see the old man. The old man tells her why he decided to work with the vampires, He wants to be immortal.
We flash back again, this time 15 hours earlier.
Eph's wife is hearing the Master's voice in her head. He tells her to come to him and she does.
So the bodyguards of the old man end up letter the hacker and exterminator go, because they don't believe in the old man anymore. They think he's wrong for what he's done.
Eph goes to his wife's friend's house. He finds the friend and her son down in the basement, they had both changed and he kills them both. Also I've been saying that the people have been getting killed by the vampires, apparently after the vampires feed they all change, so I just had to clear that up.
So the team regroups back at the pawn shop. They have an argument and the hacker girl leaves. Eph tells his kid that he couldn't find his mom.
Alright so this episode wasn't great. Maybe my expectations of a war with the vampires are too high. I must want to see more action.
